Driving Directions
From Dublin Airport
Take the M1 from the Airport and follow the signs for the M50 to the Westlink Toll Bridge.
Immediately after coming off toll bridge, exit at junction 7 and head right to N4- Galway/Sligo and The West.
Continue on this road past the Lucan Spa Hotel and on to the M4 Motorway.
Exit Motorway at Naas/Maynooth signpost and a junction take left for Naas.
Continue for approximately 5 miles/8km - cross Clane Road and follow sign for Straffan
Past Barberstown Castle and into Straffan Village - continue through village - entrance to Hotel ½ mile/800 m on right hand side. |

An extensive selection of drinks is available accompanied by a mouth watering bar snacks menu. The Bar
Situated on the first floor of the Smurfit Clubhouse, with a Panoramanic view of 18th fairway, Island green and the Ladycastle Private Estate. This magnificent wood panel bar is adorned with golf memorabilia and elegance. This very spacious bar with a canopy balcony is just the area to relax and unwind after that challenging round of golf. |
The River Room
With a relaxed atmosphere and offering beautiful views overlooking the gardens and the River Liffey, The River Room Restaurant is a casual, child friendly restaurant with NO dress code. The menu is traditional in style with some K Club favourities.

Located on the 1st floor of the Smurfit Clubhouse in delightful oriental style surroundings, this memorable restaurant offers a blend of Asian Cuisine and finest of Irish produce to create authentic oriental dishes for the Western palate. Savor the flavours and textures of classic dishes such as Laksa Seafood, Grilled Prawns with Lemongrass, Beef Rendang and Steamed Fish in Banana Leaves.
