Driving Directions
Directions to Hotel Quinta do Lago from Faro Airport
Leave the airport and drive for approximately three kilometers until you see signs for Faro and Portimao
Turn right towards Portimao
This will bring you to the main coast road - EN 125
Continue for approximately four kilometers until you see signs for Loule and Portimao
Turn right towards Portimao and continue straight ahead for approximately three kilometers
You will then see a billboard for Quinta do Lago on your left and São Lourenço church on your right
Turn right, following the sign to Almancil
Drive for a further two to three kilometers until you reach Almancil
When you get to Almancil, you will see a sign for Quinta do Lago
Turn left at the second set of traffic lights
After approximately 500 meters you will come to a fork in the road and will see a sign for Quinta do Lago
Take the left fork, passing a golf shop on your right
Carry straight on for another two kilometers until you come to a roundabout
This is the entrance to Quinta do Lago
Continue straight ahead, passing five more roundabouts until you reach the end of Quinta do Lago
The beach car park will be in front of you and the hotel is on your right |

For those who enjoy swimming, there is an indoor, heated pool (12 x 6 metres) and an outdoor, heated pool (24.5 x 12.3 metres). The temperature of both is kept at a constant 30 degrees Celsius (80 degrees Fahrenheit). There is also a children's pool measuring 8.6 x 5.6 metres and 0.70 x 0.95 metres deep.
Aquatic aerobics classes are also available on request. |

There are two, all-weather, floodlit tennis courts at the hotel, and the first hour of play is free of charge for guests plus they can also provide Tennis Raquets and Balls. Professional instruction is available for players at all levels. Advance bookings for courts and lessons are essential and can be made at the Health Club reception. |

Laguna Bar
The Laguna Bar, located next to the two restaurants, is the main bar of the Hotel where you can enjoy stunning views over the Ria Formosa. It is a tranquil retreat with seated places both indoor and outdoor, where you can enjoy a delicious cocktail at the sunset or a digestive drink after dinner. Presently, live piano music is available every night. During winter the bar opens all day whilst in summer it is only at night time. Snacks service available.
Pool Bar
During summer the Pool Bar serves drinks around the swimming pool area. Mid afternoon snacks are served on the Pool terrace. |
Ca' d'Oro
An Italian restaurant with a Mediterranean touch, Ca' d' Oro's menu offers various classical dishes which are not easy to find in any other restaurant in the Algarve. The welcoming interior design creates a more intimate and romantic atmosphere. In summer, Ca' d'Oro Restaurant meals are served at the terrace by the swimming pool. Pastas are homemade and the great majority of the ingredients are imported directly from Italy .The Restaurant is only open for dinner. You are recommended to book in advance.May we draw your attention to the fact that special attention must be paid to the dress code. Children over 10 years of age are welcome in the restaurant.

Brisa do Mar
The restaurant has a fantastic view over the sea and with an outdoor terrace where meals are served during summer. Serves buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. The 'A la carte' menu offers modern international and Portuguese specialities.
