    ChildrecreationKids For All Seasons
The Kids For All Seasons programme at Four Seasons Resort Lana'i at Manele Bay is called the Pilialoha Keiki Camp. Pilialoha means "close friendship and beloved companionship" in Hawaiian – something the resort would like to share with all guests.

The programme offers a full range of organised indoor and outdoor activities for children aged 5 to 12 years. There are full-day and half-day programmes, different for every day of the week, as well as seasonal evening events and customised theme programmes.

Intended to encourage children to appreciate Lana'i's unique environment, the programme teaches children about petroglyphs and how the Hawaiian Islands were formed. They can even build their own erupting volcano. A game of volleyball or lawn bowling, or kite-flying, may be arranged.

According to legend, a jealous warrior from Lana'i kept his beautiful maiden hidden in a sea cave near the rock, so no other man could see her. One day a storm came in, drowning her. Heartbroken, he carried her body to the top of the rock and buried her in a tomb that can still be seen today. He then leaped to his death. Sweetheart Rock is within walking distance of Four Seasons Resort Lana'i at Manele Bay.
