Not a year goes by without the L'Amiral adding a new medal to its collection. The Martinez barmen do indeed collect the most prestigious awards: they hold several French championship titles and one world championship title. The bar's "dream team" has earned over twenty trophies in all. In their hands, the shaker becomes an instrument with which they compose highly original cocktails. If the Hotel Martinez bar is today an institution, it is thanks to the warmth of its very friendly team and the musical atmosphere that is guaranteed every evening. The dozens of metal plaques fixed around the bar are a reflection of the L'Amiral's warmth and friendliness. On them are engraved the words "place de..." (the seat of...), followed by the names of a few regulars.

Zplage Beach Restaurant
Each year with the return of sunnier days, Zplage, the Martinez Hotel's private beach, dons its teak wood finery and opens its parasols to welcome the summer season. To complement its vast section of beach, the open-air restaurant's emphasis is on good, healthy food that enhances the properties of the produce and herbs and spices used, and those of the spit-roasted meat and fish, which are prepared in a special clay oven in order to bring out the flavors in the healthiest way possible. A highly elaborate cocktail menu is available at the bar, so why not be tempted by the freshly squeezed juices or fusion frappes on offer. In the summertime, the evenings come to life with fireworks and colorful dinners.
